This instrument use Double Electrode with specified dimension & different materials (the
electrostatic electrode is made of copper and the moving electrode is made of stainless steel).
In a specified current (33A) and power factor (COS φ 0.5),repeated arc on the surface of the
sample about 200 times to test whether the sample is ignition or not ,then to evaluate the
withstanding ability of high current arc ignition performance of the sample. The test arc is usually
at 254mm/s and the repetition frequency (40 /min).
