Head probe for testing cords/ straps and elastics in toys.Cords or elastics included with
or attached to toys intended for children less than 18 months of age (excluding pull toys)
shall be less than 12 in. (300mm) long when measured to the max. length in a free state
and under a load of 5lb (2.25kg).
If cords/straps/elastics or multiple cords/ straps/ elastics can tangle or form a loop in connection
with any part of the toy, including beads or other attachments on the ends of cords/ straps/
elastics, the loop shall not permit the passage of the head probe. Specifically, the loop shall
not allow the head probe to be inserted so ddep that it admits the base of the probe.
